Hello, My name is Tranae' Marks and I am 36 years old. I'm a junior and I am a Sociology major with a concentration in Family Science. I decided to go into sociology because I've always wondered why people act they way they do. I have a heart to help those that are in need no matter what the situation may be. After graduation my plan is to pursue my masters degree in sociology.

I have five children, Cameron, Courtland, Keslie, Kaitlyn, and Peyton. Both Kelsie and Peyton are my biological children, but God decided to bless me with three more without the labor pains. I also have a handsome husband Darrell whom I have been with for 11 years. We enjoy spending time as a family either watching movies or going crabbing on the weekends.

While taking this course I expect to learn more about how to help the youth understand that they don't have to be a product of their environment, that they can achieve any goal that they set for themselves.
